A Toy That Sparks Imagination and Creativity

In the world of children, simple and elementary toys hold a special place. These toys have the ability to transform into anything their imaginations desire. Inspired by this childlike wonder, Esmail Ghadrdani designed the Zoo Animals toy collection.

The Zoo Animals collection consists of 10 animals, each made up of different legs and horns. The legs have a uniform shape, while the horns vary, representing different animals. The idea behind this design is to allow children to use everyday objects, such as stones, to create their own animal figures. By connecting the legs and horns to these objects, children can easily bring their animal creations to life.

The Zoo Animals are made using injection molding technology with high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The choice of material ensures durability and longevity, allowing children to enjoy their creations for years to come. The animals come in various sizes, with a standard diameter of 4 cm for the circles.

Creating animals with the Zoo Animals toy is a simple and intuitive process. Children can use objects they find in their surroundings, like stones, as the bodies of the animals. The legs and horns have a clamp-like shape, making it easy to attach them to the body with a little pressure. This design allows for endless possibilities and encourages children to explore their creativity.

The Zoo Animals project was initiated in September 2022 and completed in November 2022 in Esfarayen City. The design process involved extensive research on children's favorite toys and their interests. It was discovered that children derive joy and excitement from bringing their visualizations to life. The Zoo Animals toy aims to provide a platform for children to express their imagination and create their own animal kingdom.

Esmail Ghadrdani faced a significant challenge in designing the Zoo Animals toy. The main hurdle was finding a simple yet sturdy way to connect the horns and legs to the objects. The solution was to design the horns and legs in a compressive state, acting like clamps that securely hold onto the pieces, such as stones.

The Zoo Animals toy has received recognition for its innovative design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Toys, Games, and Hobby Products category in 2023. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Zoo Animals toy stands out for its ability to integrate industry best practices and its competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive experiences for children.
